JJ and I have been having lots of special, sappy talks these past few days. April 1st marks two years from the day he changed our lives simply by showing up. These lyrics come from Sade’s The Sweetest Gift, a song I have always imagined I would play and sing for my little ones. Someday.

A Perfect Circle – 13th step – the whole album is pretty much about addiction and I find it extremely amazing, it really helped me to understand addiction and kind of see it in a new light when a friend was dealing with stuff a couple years ago. It just came up randomly on shuffle on my computer and I remembered how much i love it.
