You didn’t think you’d get through an entire NY Fashion Week with just one post from me, did you? I promise, just this one more.

Here are some looks from Tibi:

I have attempted this strapless layered look for about 3 years now. No such luck looking pulling it off.

I watched about 7 or 8 shows on Livestream with the lovely Mary Rambin from MorethanMary.com. Of them all, Isaac Mizrahi was my favorite. The show itself was spirited and fun and evoked emotion, this is what a good show does for me. Marc Jacobs was great too, but I like Isaac better. This surprised me…but I won’t bore you with the reason why. I’ll let the images do the talking:

    Isaac Mizrahi just seems to “get” it: women’s bodies, shapes we like, and he has such a lovely & restrained sense of whimsy.
    And I’ve tried the strapless/layered thing too- no matter what, it always is just a bit “off” and I end up looking a little bit schizophrenic and a lot fat.

    Whiskey is into fashion! Yay! And yes ‘a bit off’ os exactly how it turns out for me. Maybe 2010 will be our year to get it right.
